Building Price Index Consultancy Services
ABS statistics include price indexes for the output of the non-house residential building industry and the non-residential building industry. These two indexes (hereafter referred to as `Building Price Indexes` or `BPIs`) are produced for each State and Territory in Australia and are published in Producer Price Indexes, Australia (ABS cat. no. 6427.0).
The Commonwealth Government of Australia (hereafter referred to as `the Commonwealth`) represented by the ABS is seeking tenders for the provision of services, in two parts, related to the production of these price indexes:
Part A. The production of information to be used to update the structure, weights and price collection of the price indexes.
Part B. The provision of prices (unit rates) for a set of construction items on a quarterly basis in all capital cities, plus North Queensland.
