Aspiri PS Design, Fabrication & Installation of New Undercover Area

The Work includes the design, fabrication and installation of a 22.9m long x 10.0m wide x 3.5m high gable roof assembly area (freestanding) -with insulation to roof area outside of the Library. The shade structure will be carefully planned around existing services and will provide an impermeable cover that the school can use all year round.

The Works include but are not necessarily limited to:

• Protection of existing paving to ensure no damage during works.
• Temporary fencing to work area.
• Design, fabricate and install shade structure to details shown on concept plan. Details of proposed shade structure type including photos to be supplied with tender submission the below items are to be included:
  • Supply & installation of 4 x roller shutters (automated) to structure (to match existing around school)
  • 2 x Sets of exit doors
• Services scanning prior to any excavation
• Supply & installation of pavers to remaining grassed area
• Structural certification of the structure.
• Certificate of Design Compliance.
• Building Permit application including council liaison.
• Concrete footings over compacted subsoil to Australian Standards and engineer's specification
• If the Building Permit states that a Certificate of Construction Compliance is required, these costs shall be borne by the contractor.
• Tenderer to visit the site to assess the extent of the installation and identify on the Tender Price any additional items which are not incorporated in the scope but are necessary for the complete installation of the shade structure.
• Site works to be carried out during Christmas school holiday period.
• All necessary lifting equipment to allow for a safe installation.

Tenderers shall make themselves familiar with the existing site conditions, the specifications, drawings and all Contract documentation. All measurements and details shown on drawings or other documents (if any) are to be confirmed by Tenderers prior to submission of their Quote.

All materials and installation shall be supplied and be in accordance with Australian Standards and all codes and regulations relevant to the Scope of Work contained herein.
