Aerial Application Services - Fertiliser and Pesticide on Plantations

The Forest Products Commission requires CASA certified agricultural aerial operators to provide services for the delivery and application of granular mineral fertilisers on mid rotation pine plantations, as well as application of liquid pesticides on newly established pine plantations. Up to 500 tonnes per year of fertiliser application is required commencing this winter while pesticide application will be required on up to 3,000 hectares per year commencing next year. Successful contractors will be required to coordinate collection, transportation, onsite storage and application of mineral granulated fertilisers that are purchased by FPC from an existing CUA. For pesticides, successful contractors will be responsible for providing the necessary equipment and water to mix and apply liquid pesticides, which are provided by FPC. Both fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft are suitable for the work requirements.
