Carnarvon Fishing Boat Harbour Electrical Distribution System Upgrade

The Scope of Works under this contract includes the following:
(i) Installation of two 630kVA and one 315kVA MPS transformers supplied by the Principal;
(ii) Installation of one ring main unit (RMU supplied by the Principal);
(iii) Supply and installation of new high voltage cables including earthworks, directional drilling, blockwork, labelling, earthing, joints, terminations, conduit, markers, warning tape, testing, commissioning and energising;
(iv) Supply and installation of low voltage cables including earthworks, directional drilling, joints, warning tape, terminations, testing, conduit, universal pillars, mini pillar, links, testing, commissioning and energising;
(v) Supply and installation of a street light network including cables, conduit, joints, warning tape, terminations, earthworks, directional drilling, poles, luminaires, footings, dewatering, switchboard, testing and commissioning;
(vi) Supply and installation of 1 phase and 3 phase consumer mains including earthworks, directional drilling, cables, warning tape, terminations, conduit, labels, route markers, changeovers, switchboards, testing and commissioning;
(vii) Removal and disposal of existing RMU and transformers;
(viii) Disconnection, removal and disposal of all redundant electrical equipment, switchboards, pillars, streetlights and footings;
(ix) Reinstatements to disturbed surfaces;
(x) Supply and installation of construction and project signage;
(xi) Provision of handover documentation including operational and maintenance manual and ‘As Built’ records; and
(xii) Commissioning of the installation.

The Contractor is responsible for all temporary works including design of temporary works. Temporary works shall be designed to the appropriate wind region/category in AS1170.2 for Region D.
