Description
PAMC is responsible for the design, construction, operation and maintenance of common user ship building facilities at Osborne South Australia to support the Royal Australian Navy Air Warfare Destroyer program.
The project comprises:
§dredging of the Port River and surrounds to the wharf and shiplift
§wharf structure of 25m x 200m
§dry berth facility
§shiplift (34m x 160m) and transfer systems
§civil engineering and other engineering works to support the shiplift and transfer systems, and
§site works, site services, communications and security systems.
The value of the works is in excess of AUD120million and the program for the works is 2006 to early 2010.
This is the first phase of a two-phase selection process from which PAMC intends to invite managing contractor entities to tender for the project.
Submissions must be lodged as specified in the Invitation to Register Interest documentation.
PAMC reserves the right not to proceed with the registration of interest process and not to proceed to tender the project.
