Description

The Goondicum Project is a former ilmenite, feldspar, apatite and titano-magnetite mine located approximately 30 kilometres east of Monto in Central Queensland. In September 2019 the operator of the mine was placed into voluntary administration, subsequently disclaiming the site to the QLD Government in October 2020.

DNRME Technical Services (TS) currently manages the site in line with the Abandoned Mine Lands Program (AMLP) with the intention of undertaking works at the site to ensure it is safe, secure, durable and where possible, productive.

TS requires the wet hire of plant and equipment to undertake necessary earthworks to achieve the objectives set out in the final concept designs. Work directions will be given by TS Supervisors.
