To establish a panel of Security Vetting Service providers on behalf of the Department of Finance and Deregulation

The services required in this RFT are for the provision of security vetting services for personnel employed under the MOP(S) Act and Finance staff;

The personnel security vetting services required under this RFT are security clearances at the SECRET and TOP SECRET (NV) level and PRC for clearances processed in-house;

Finance may, on occasion, require the service providers to undertake vetting for clearances at levels other than those set out above or to undertake partial clearances to assist Finance to effectively deal with peak activity in its personnel security vetting processes;

Finance anticipates establishing a panel of service providers for the provision of these services. The panel arrangement will operate under a Standing Offer framework.

Finance requires the Service Provider to provide the following security vetting services in accordance with the Statement of Requirements::

• new clearances;

• re-evaluations of existing clearances;

• upgrade of existing clearances; and

• aftercare services.
