Shelving Hire - FE24/25

The Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) requires the provision of shelving at 19 Out-Posted Centres (OPCs) for the upcoming Federal Election.

This shelving will be used for the storing of AEC Electronic Certified Lists (ECL’s) which are delicate and require safe storage given their importance and value. By storing them, we will have given ourselves more space in our OPC’s which will be critical.

A possible installation will have the measurements of 1000kg 1938 x 1830 x 645mm. This will be 12m long in total for each location.

These services will be required at seven (7) metropolitan locations and twelve (12) regional locations throughout New South Wales. The locations are detailed in Table 1.

For each location, the Supplier may be required to:

1. Conduct a physical site visit and prepare a detailed installation plan for each site. Each site is identified in Table 1.
2. Complete all required permit applications;
3. Provide written guidance to the AEC on
   1. How long the installation process will take.
   2. Equipment and space required to undertake the installation effectively.
   3. Any other details necessary to the DRO/Site Manager.
4. Gain approval from the relevant DRO/ Site Manager for installation.

When responding to this request, please only respond to locations you are available to supply. We understand that some suppliers can only service some of the OPC’s listed below, so please make clear which locations you can supply.

All final requirements, including site addresses and AEC contacts will be confirmed in writing by the AEC upon announcement of the Election date and the corresponding writ-to-writ
