Nunyerry Site Investigation

The Nunyerry abandoned mine site, situated approximately 107 kilometres North-West of Auski Roadhouse. The site encompasses multiple abandoned mine features including underground mine shafts, and mine infrastructure. Uncontained tailings resulting from historical mining activities still occupy the site. Community concerns relating to the downstream movement of tailings material within the Fortesque Catchment along with the proximity to prospecting areas have been noted. There are no facilities (including accommodation, water, power, toilets) and limited services (phone service/communications coverage by Telstra is limited and coverage is unreliable) on road access and the site. The Consultant shall have access to the project area through prior arrangement with the Customer.
