Gindie State School - Hard Roof Outdoor Learning Area (With Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a new Hard Roof Outdoor Learning Area at Gindie SS , located at Gregory Hwy & Old Cullen-la-ringo Road, Gindie, QLD, 4702, as part of the Prioritised Nominated Project (PNP) program.

The works include removal of a shade sail and replacement with a new solid roof structure, new concrete slab, drainage and screening to stairs of the adjacent building. The position of the site is at the front of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by the end of June 2023 if possible.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

·Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works

·Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 Million

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
