QED 292 2023 - Bribie Island SHS - Roof Replacement

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Roof Replacement at Bribie Island SHS, located at First Avenue, Bongaree QLD 4507, as part of the R&R program.

The Roof replacement of the Art Block includes replacing of the existing roof sheeting including insulation, flashings, gutters, and downpipes. The scope includes replacing of ceilings. The position of the building is at the back of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by July 2023.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works.
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 Million

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
