Description
Fisheries and Aquaculture requires a contractor, for a three (3) year period, to undertake economic impact analysis for the South Australian Fisheries and Aquaculture sectors for the 2020-21, 2021-22, and 2022-23 years, and provide relevant reporting.
The purpose of this procurement is to provide the Department of Primary Industries and Regions (PIRSA) with information necessary to consider common trends to inform various facets of PIRSA’s work, including fishery management plans, zoning of areas for aquaculture, future resource planning and informing decision making at various levels.
The proposed contract term is for 3 years with the option for an additional 1 year (2023-24).
The contractor is required to gather, analyse and report on economic information required by PIRSA Fisheries and Aquaculture. This information will be used by the Government Agency in decision making and to annually report on the status of the sectors.
