Description
The Forest Products Commission (the FPC) is inviting offers from suitably equipped, experienced and financially sound buyers to harvest and purchase pine industrial wood (suitable for the production of woodchip and woody biomass) on a 'sale at stump' basis. The resource will be made available from the FPC's softwood plantations located within 200 kilometres north and east of Perth (Northern Region).
The resource is being sold as two parcels, each of 50,000 tonnes per year for a maximum term of five years, with approximately 80% sourced from clearfall operations harvesting fire and drought affected sharefarm plantations and approximately 20% from sharefarm thinning operations.
A non-mandatory briefing will be held from 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, 31 March 2021, starting from Regans Ford Roadhouse.
