Tourism Tasmania seeks to engage an in-market regional representative to be the ‘face’of Tourism Tasmania in Asia across any, all or a combination of the following key markets: A. Japan and Korea B. Hong Kong and China C. Singapore and Malaysia Key responsibilities of the in-market regional representative will include developing Regional Strategic Marketing plans for the above key Asian markets; implementation of agreed strategies and programs in market; identifying and building relationships with key trade and non-traditional partners and working closely with them in the implementation of marketing and promotional plans; devising and implementing a digital marketing strategy; implementing PR plan and Visiting Journalist Program, and integrating both into the broader marketing campaigns; providing up to the minute market intelligence and insights into the market, travel trade and aviation industry; and representing TourismTasmania at in-market industry meetings; partner meetings, trade forums and other functions as required.
