Description
The Maria Island Jetty is subject to frequent strong westerly winds accompanying small but high energy wave acion and significant well surges that cause ongoing structural issues.
Tendered works will include:
- Under water and above water construction works
- Installation of grout sleeves
- Fabrication and replacement of steel components
- Removal and storage of existing concrete wave panels
- Replacement of bearing pads under concrete deck panels
- Upgrades to fenders and fabrication and installation of new pedestrian safety barriers.
