Valuation of Multiple Fixed Assets Classes from 2022

1. Background

Public Transport Authority’s (PTA) Infrastructure Portfolio is required to value all agency assets in order to provide information for financial reporting and insurance requirements. These valuations must be undertaken and completed by April of each year for the duration of the contract term. PTA is proposing a contract term of an initial three (3) years with two one (1) year extension options at the PTAs discretion. The assets that require valuation include rail, bus and ferry networks in line with the valuation timeframe cycle as below.

1. Scope of Services

The scope of this engagement is limited to the valuation of PTA’s owned assets contained within PTA’s Fixed Asset Register (FAR) in line with the asset profiles at each respective time period (as per the below schedule). Note that each asset profile represents a number of physical assets.
