WA Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development
Future Drought Fund - Farm Business Resilience Program
Details
Description
The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) seeks to engage an organisation or consortium to deliver the Future Drought Fund’s (FDF) Farm Business Resilience program (FBR) across Western Australia (WA).
DPIRD is seeking a suitable professional organisation with the expertise to develop and deliver FBR training courses, support participants to undertake farm business planning and complete formal, independent assessments of the Farm Business Plans that are developed.
The successful Respondent is expected to be a consortium or an organisation with distinct specialisations, given the requirement for the Farm Business Plans to be assessed by qualified independent professional/s. Individual consultants involved in the training courses and farm business planning support provided to participants will not be able to complete the final assessment of the Plans.
DPIRD require Offers to deliver the whole FBR program in WA.
Offers may include an existing industry specific product(s) that can be brought into WA for delivery here as an add on. The proposal for the add on will be considered if the product:
- Meets all the criteria for an individual industry, and
- Is not currently being delivered in WA.
If a Respondent would like to deliver an industry specific program as an add on to the whole program, Respondents shall outline which primary industries it is submitting an add on for in its Offer.
The successful Respondent will be expected to have the capability to undertake all components of the program across primary industries. This will include administering the program logistics and delivering the program with input from DPIRD.
Respondents will also need to have a demonstrated understanding of the Western Australian agricultural context and the capacity to ensure that any existing content or research used in providing the services is relevant and appropriately aligned to this context.
If needed, it is recommended organisations partner together to ensure they have the experience, capacity and appropriate accreditation to deliver the program.
