Water Quality and Operational Information Solution

Queensland Bulk Water Supply Authority trading as Seqwater has a requirement for the provision of a Water Quality and Operational Information Solution (WQOIS).

Seqwater manages a portfolio of assets that includes dams, weirs, water treatment plants, bores and remote field stations. Plant and water quality data from these assets is currently collected, stored and managed using a variety of methods, including 35 Excel spreadsheets, Access databases, various propriety software, and paper records. The implementation of a single scalable, integrated solution will enable user efficiencies and data integrity necessary for reporting, compliance and confidence in the data used for Seqwater’s decision making.

The desired outcome is implementation of a WQOIS that includes the system, tools and streamlined processes necessary to support Seqwater with operational efficiency and compliance in WQOIS management, while remaining in alignment with Seqwater’s overall business planning and strategy.
