Provision of Services to Perform a Review of GITC

The Department of Science, Information Technology, and Innovation (DSITI) is seeking a suitably qualified supplier to undertake a GITC review to answer the question: “What is the right contracting framework for ICT procurement for the Queensland Government?”

The objectives of the GITC review are to:

• recommend a simplified contracting framework, and associated policy and management frameworks which:

• reduce the cost of doing business with government
• retain adequate protection for contracting parties
• reflect the future sourcing needs of Queensland government

• maintain momentum for implementation by:

• identifying early wins which can be implemented concurrently with the review
• building a compelling rationale for change (business case) for implementation of the review recommendations
