Beerwah State School Block M Refurbishment

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of refurbishment to Block
M at Beerwah State School, located at 2788 Old Gympie Rd, Beerwah QLD 4519 as part of the School Infrastructure
Enhancement (SIE) program.

The refurbishment works include the replacement of the teaching walls, carpet floor coverings, windows, ceiling lights and
fans, to four of the existing General Learning Areas in Block M. The position of the building is in the middle of the school with
limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by 24 January 2020.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
 Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
 Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1,000,000

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are
required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
