Description
The University of Queensland’s Property and Facilities Engineering section has a long-term task to update the Fire Ring main on the St Lucia Campus, this project was started in 2005 and is now in the last stages of implementation with the requirement for the installation of this section of fire main from the Tennis Centre to the intersection of Blair drive and Campbell Road (Refer Attachment no. One). The works are to be undertaken during the mid-year academic break.
The installation works up to this point has been done in sections and as construction works have been happening at different sites on the Campus. Stages of the installation have been completed by the construction companies doing associated Construction works while some sections have been installed independently to major projects.
