Bassendean Station Bus Interchange Expansion

As part of the new Midland Station Project, the Midland Junction Alliance (MJA) is planning a full closure of the Midland Rail Line in early 2026 to enable major construction works. During this period, train replacement bus services will operate between Midland and Bassendean stations for an extended duration. To ensure the reliability and efficiency of the train replacement bus services, it is critical that the Bassendean Bus Interchange is upgraded to support increased operations. The project will focus on the expansion of bus stand capacity and associated infrastructure to mitigate risks of overcrowding, delays, and service inefficiencies.
