Redbank Plains State School - Replace Shade Structure (with design responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a replacement shade structure at Redbank Plains State School, located at 39-53 School Road, Redbank Plains Qld 4301, as part of the Rectification and Reinstatement (R&R) program.

The proposed structure is located on an embankment adjacent the school’s oval. Demolition of the existing structure is located near Block B facing School Road. All works are to be completed by July 2022.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

 Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works

 Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1m.

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
