Provision of Mustering and Removal of Wild Stock (Goats) from QPWS Managed Areas within South West Region of Queensland

The Department of National Parks, Recreation, Sport and Racing (NPRSR) is inviting offers from experienced individuals or companies to muster, yard, care for and remove wild stock (goats) from QPWS Managed Areas of Mulgalands/ Western Region.

The successful contractor will be entitled to:
• claim ownership of the stock not lawfully identified and claimed by a third party;
• dispose of said stock as the Offeror determines;
• retain any proceeds or profits from the disposal of the stock, pending departmental approval of potential royalties, as outlined below.

QPWS may incorporate a royalty’s fee, to be paid by the mustering contractor to QPWS, based on a percentage of the sale price, during the course of this contract, i.e. 10% return of the sale price of goats.

The Department of National Parks, Recreation, Sport and Racing will have no obligation to reimburse the successful offeror for any cost incurred in undertaking the above activities.
