Snapper Creek Boat Ramp Widening and Floating Walkway Construction 2014

Tenders are invited from suitably qualified companies to widen the existing boat ramp at Snapper Creek (Tin Can Bay) and construct a new floating walkway. Two design options are provided within the tender document. The design option (A or B) that forms this Contract will be selected by the Principal. All works will be in accordance with the chosen design option.

The major items included in the Works are:

1. Design floating walkway
2. Prepare construction drawings and design report for floating walkway
3. Supply and fabricate floating walkway modules and associated components
4. Supply and install floating walkway piling including polyethylene sleeves
5. Earthworks to widen the existing boat ramp to prepare a base support for the floating walkway including removal of portion of existing ramp as per the extents on the Drawings
6. Construct stone pitched shoulders
7. Prepare handover documents
