Description
Background
The Track and Structures Branch of the Public Transport Authority (PTA) is responsible for maintaining the safety and function of the Rail Track, Fencing and associated infrastructure. As part of its responsibility, it requires a tenderer to provide subsurface detection services for a maximum contract period of five (5) years.
There has not previously been a contract arrangement for this requirement within PTA. The Track and Structures Branch has previously procured its services on an ‘as required’ basis.

- PTA requires experienced & qualified sub surface location personnel to identify, locate & paint mark third party services/utilities for our maintenance & project works that require excavation.
- Supply “dial before you dig” information & plans for each location & arrange any third party excavation permits & accredited surveillance personnel to complete the excavation project.
- PTA may also require the option of having all services/utilities potholed & temporary pipe installed for visual confirmation of services.
Please refer to Book 4 - Scope of Services & Specification for additional details.
