Description

The Department of Agriculture and Food (DAFWA) has been appointed the lead agency to develop and extend the existing Northern Gascoyne River Borefield (NGR Borefield). The program aims to:

  • Establish bores to provide an additional (approximately) four (4) Giga Litres of suitable water to supply to the existing Gascoyne water supply system.
  • Determine the extent and nature of aquifers in the Gascoyne Food Bowl project area which extends east from Carnarvon to Rocky Pool along the Gascoyne River.
  • Undertake exploratory drilling, create groundwater monitoring sites, and an estimated forty (40) production bores.

There are no minimum or maximum quantities guaranteed under the Contract and actual quantities shall be at the sole and absolute discretion of the Principal.

DAFWA is seeking provision of production bore gravel packing, development and test pumping for the extension of the NGR Borefield.
