CTP insurance is mandatory for all vehicles and can only be provided by the six companies authorised by the MAIR, a business unit of the State Insurance Regulatory Authority. C4005 is a mandatory whole-of-government contract with an annual value of $20 million excluding GST (total value of $60 million excluding GST).
