Presentation Space 1 (PS1) and Presentation Space 2 (PS2), are the two largest exhibition spaces at Powerhouse Parramatta, situated within the eastern building. The Powerhouse has collaborated with two leading international architecture firms to design the two large-scale immersive exhibitions in these spaces. The structural steel for both these exhibitions will be supplied and installed as part of the base build works and these works will be completed before site handover to the Fitout Contractor. Following the outcome of this two-stage tender process, the Successful Tenderer will be responsible for managing the construction delivery of: ‒ Internal fit out of the two (2) exhibitions including walls, floors and ceilings. ‒ Mechanical and Fire Services installation, including integration with base building systems ‒ Coordination and integration with the Powerhouse exhibition and collection teams. ‒ Coordination and integration with the Powerhouse team and their contractors who will deliver rigging, lighting, audio and video cabling rough in (power and signal services) in the walls and floors for their lighting and AV equipment. ‒ Site management, materials handling, access and egress including working at heights, and final clean of the exhibition space before handover to Powerhouse.
