The Department of Transport and Main Roads (the Department) is pleased to release this Invitation to Offer (ITO) in relation to aviation services for regional Queensland.

In relation to the ITO process, please note the following:

The future network from 1 January 2015

Offerors may bid for a single route, multiple routes (bundle), or the entire network:

• Western 1 - Brisbane-Toowoomba-St George-Cunnamulla-Thargomindah
• Western 2 - Brisbane-Toowoomba-Charleville-Quilpie-Windorah-Birdsville-Bedourie-Boulia-Mount Isa
• Gulf - Cairns-Normanton-Gununa-Burketown-Doomadgee-Mount Isa
• Northern 1 - Townsville-Winton-Longreach
• Northern 2 - Townsville-Hughenden-Richmond-Julia Creek-Mt Isa
• Central 1 – Brisbane-Roma-Charleville
• Central 2 – Brisbane-Blackall-Barcaldine-Longreach

Briefing Session

The Department will hold a briefing session to familiarise Offerors with the Electronic Pricing Templates and the Contract Payment Mechanism relevant to the enclosed ITO.

ITO Closing and Submission Requirements

Potential Offerors are reminded that the closing date for this process is approaching at 4pm on Friday the 27th of June 2014.

As per 2. ITO Specification, Section 1 – Introduction, Item five (5) hard copies are to be forwarded to:

To be clear regarding the number of copies, both the ITO Specification and Section 1.3 of the Financial Template Bid Instructions require completed templates to be lodged in hardcopy and electronic copy. Given that an Offeror could be submitting more than one template in response to the ITO, TMR will accept one hardcopy version of all Financial Bid and Bundle Offer Templates being submitted in an Offer. The hardcopy must be completed and signed as required by the Financial Template Bid Instructions. Electronic copies must still be supplied as per the instructions.
