A project to be undertaken

This RFT Engineering Services for Parts 0-9 of CHW2 Refurbishment Stage 2. This tender is to award the following engineer services: Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulics/Fire (Wet and Dry) and Civil/Structural. The intent is to award all four disciplines to one Tenderer. To support the expansion in building footprint and services, the final package to be delivered for the CHW2 project will be Refurbishment Stage 2. It’s composed of the central sterilising supply department (CSSD) and Kitchen which will undergo a major refurbishment. In addition, budget has been allocated for the design and development of a Paediatric Palliative Care Unit that will occupy the current burns ward once it’s decanted into the PSB. Each package is distinct and will have different requirements for delivery, which should be noted in the submitted tender responses. All three of the packages for Refurbishment Stage 2 must be delivered concurrently: · Central Sterilising Supply Department (CSSD) Refurbishment – partial Part 4 - Part 9 · Kitchen Refurbishment – parts 0-9 · Westmead Children’s Palliative Care – parts 0-9 Construction works for Refurbishment Stage 2 are due to begin in March 2026 when the PSB is open and key areas vacated
