Particulars

The NETM program will develop and deliver 100 micro-credentials over a four-year pilot period. Micro-credentials in the NETM will be commissioned in response to industry-identified skills needs. The NETM and its governance process will facilitate increased responsiveness to industry requirements than in traditional models of education. Through the development of the Awareness of Sustainable Practice Opportunities micro-credential, the Authority is looking to deliver the following learning outcomes: •Understand what sustainable practice is, and how to identify current and emerging sustainable practices. •Analyse and determine the suitability (inc. risks, benefits, and costs) of implementing a sustainable practice. •Understand procurement, supply chain and HR roles in sustainability. •Understand ISO14001 standards and certifications and relevant legislation. •Understand and apply repair, recycling and recovery options and next life uses for old equipment.
