Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC) Redevelopment Project Facilities Management Advisor

The State has entered into a project definition phase to consider a proposed redevelopment of the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC). During this phase the State is work closely with the existing PCEC Joint Venture (JV) proponents and a number of advisors to undertake due diligence, develop a reference design and confirm the State’s preferred transaction structure. The State is in exclusive commercial negotiations with the PCEC JV proponents a view to reaching contractual close on the PCEC redevelopment project by mid-2025. It is envisaged that: the Project will be delivered under a design-build-finance-maintain (DBFM) public private partnership by a vehicle established by the PCEC JV. Once completed, the PCEC will be operated by a private sector convention and exhibition centre operator (Operator), appointed by the State. The Department is seeking professional services for the provision of facilities management (FM) advice for the PCEC redevelopment project. These services will include the development of a specification for the FM requirements of DBFM contract, contributing to the development of the Public Sector Comparator, and offering negotiation support.
