Level 1 Sciencentre Redevelopment Project - Queensland Museum and Sciencentre, (QM) Cultural Precinct

The Arts Queensland - AQ, on behalf of Queensland Museum is seeking a suitably qualified contractor for the Construction of Base Building Works for the Level 1 Sciencentre Redevelopment Project.

Base building works for the Sciencentre Redevelopment Project includes:

• Building works i.e. demolition, hoarding installation, new floor, wall, doors and ceiling finishes, painting, toilet upgrade
• services upgrades including electrical (power, data, installation of floor boxes, new track lighting), mechanical, communications and data, fire and hydraulics and acoustic treatment.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS - PQC Level 3 or 4 - Arts Queensland has obtained a list of Eligible Contractors which are registered as Pre-Qualified Contractors for the project with a PQC Rating of 3 or 4 on the Department of Housing and Public Works PQC database.

It shall be mandatory that tenderers are listed on the Eligible List.

MANDATORY INDUSTRY BRIEFING - A Mandatory Industry Briefing and Site Inspection will take place on Tuesday, 24 October 2017 at 8.30am at Queensland Museum including a site inspection.

Access to the QM building is via the security desk at the rear of the building (access via the shared service yard entry on the corner of Grey Street and Stanley Place).

CLOSING DATE AND TIME - Tenders must be lodged by 2:00 PM (strictly) Australian Eastern Standard Time (Queensland) by Tuesday, 14 November 2017. Tenders recieved after this time are considered late and are subject to principals discression for acceptance.
