Supply of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

OVERVIEW OF GOODS/SERVICES

Queensland Rail is looking at engaging one Contractor to supply Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Queensland Rail has a requirement to purchase PPE to meet safe working requirements. The PPE is worn by staff working in a variety of environments including construction sites, maintenance and plant operations, outdoor operations and by drivers of heavy fleet and plant vehicles. PPE range should be easily ordered and promptly supplied to staff throughout Queensland.

The required PPE product categories include:

• glasses / accessories
• gloves
• hearing / head equipment
• respiratory equipment
• other (e.g. backpack with reflective tape, knee pad, high visibility polar fleecy beanie)

Important note: Queensland Rail currently uses a web-based integrated solution for the procurement of PPE. To be considered for this tender you MUST have the ability to integrate with Queensland Rail using Open Catalogue Interface.

PROCESS OVERVIEW

Ariba Sourcing, Queensland Rail’s tendering system, is the only tendering tool that Tenderers must use to submit their responses. Queensland Rail will NOT accept any physical responses or responses via the Queensland Government QTenders website.
