Maintenance of Fire Protection Systems and Equipment

Metro North Hospital and Health Service (MNHHS) invites Service Providers to submit an offer in response to ITO Number MNHHS91244 Maintenance of Fire Protection Systems and Equipment. The successful Service Provider is to conduct planned testing and maintenance of the fire protection systems and equipment installed at Metro North sites in accordance with relevant legislative requirements. The maintenance of these systems will ensure that, in the unlikely event of a fire, the systems work effectively to detect, notify, contain, and/or extinguish a fire to safeguard facility occupants.

Metro North will establish and manage individual contracts based on main sites as a result of this ITO. The sites covered under this agreement are:

a) Redcliffe Hospital;

b) Caboolture/Kilcoy Hospitals;

c) Community and Oral Health Directorate and Mental Health Services;

d) The Prince Charles Hospital; and

e) Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (Fire Fighting Equipment only – less Hydrants and Fire Doors).
