Independent Verifier for Gold Coast Light Rail Stage 2

The Department of Transport and Main Roads is seeking suitably qualified respondents to submit offers for the role of Independent Verifier (IV) for Gold Coast Light Rail (GCLR) Stage 2.

GCLR Stage 2 is an extension of GCRT Stage 1, the key objective of Stage 2 is to provide a world class light rail system that will integrate with and enhance the existing public transport network and efficiently and reliably connect the people and places of the Gold Coast.

The State, acting through the Department of Transport and Main Roads, is responsible for leading and managing the procurement and delivery of Stage 2, including Independent Verifier.

Offerors must have the following prequalification for the design verification:

• Bridge Design: BD3
• Geotechnical Engineering: GE3
• Highway Engineering: HE3
• Hydraulic Design: HD3
• Traffic Engineering: TE3
• Transport Planning: TP2

Offerors which are not fully prequalified at the required design levels may partner with other suitably qualified parties to provide a conforming response. Offerors must also provide suitable experienced construction verification personnel.

Access to Invitation to Offer documents:

Offerors must provide evidence of its prequalification and sign and return a Process Deed Poll prior to being provided to access to the Independent Verifier Data Room.

The Data Room contains the Invitation to Offer and the relevant GCLR Stage 2 information documents.
