Description
The Cape Hauy Track is one of Tasmania's 60 Great Short Walks, and one of the most popular day walks in the Tasman National. The Parks and Wildlife Service is planning to upgrade the entire 4.7km of track to the Class 3 standard for walking tracks (AS 2156.1 and 2156.2). To facilitate the upgrade helicopter services are required to fly materials, equipment and people to and from one of two depots within land adjacent to the Tasman National Park to sites along the track length.
