Request for Expressions of Interest – Raising London Circuit Main Works

Raising London Circuit Main Works (Project). The Project involves the
construction of a series of works to raise the southern portion of
London Circuit, so that London Circuit and Commonwealth Avenue are
at-grade, and a signalised intersection of London Circuit and
Commonwealth Avenue is installed. The Project will be delivered
through a Construct Only contract, with design undertaken by Major
Projects Canberra.
The Project is an enabling road project for the delivery of Light Rail
Stage 2, City to Woden. Light Rail Stage 2 will connect with Stage 1 to
create a public transport spine connecting Canberra’s north and south.
Light Rail Stage 2 will improve access to public transport for existing and
new residential and commercial activity in the city centre, Canberra's
lakefront and along the corridor to Woden. This will underpin
Canberra’s modern and integrated public transport network which
connects major residential areas, employment zones, social centres and
cultural hubs across the city.
