Provision of State Based Intellectual Property (IP) Lodgement Services

The Service Provider will provide physical places of business (“service location”).The Services are to be delivered in each Australian state and mainland territory capital city.Services are not required in Canberra. The services are to be delivered within existing legislative and government requirements.The Service Provider will provide the following required services to IP Australia:(a)Receive transactions (lodgements and/or payments of public monies) on behalf of IP Australia in person and by post and accurately record the transaction date;

(b)Issue a receipt for, and at the time of, each transaction;

(c)Transfer electronically all transaction payments of public monies to IP Australia’s nominated bank account via secure means and in accordance with the timeframes set out in clause 3.2.23 of Part 1;

(d)Reconcile public monies received with customer lodgements for each transaction to allow IP Australia to match customer payments with customer lodgements;

(e)Transport all lodgement materials associated with a transaction to Canberra by secure means and in accordance with the timeframes set out in clause 3.2.28 of Part 1; and

(f)Provide public access to IP Australia information/marketing material at each service location including public access to the trade marks listing of goods and services at each service location in either hard-copy or electronically.
