City of Charles Sturt
Redevelopment of Henley RSL
Details
Description
Henley & Grange RSL building is located at 138 North Street Henley Beach.
The current premises are occupied by the head licence holder Henley & Grange RSL Club, which is open to the public and members for events and as a licenced venue. The current composition consists of both a main building and a transportable style building adjacent. The main building contains an open main area which is used for both dining and recreation, kitchen, bar, food and general store areas (including a cool room), office and male and female toilets. There is a small foyer at the front of the property with ramp access. In addition to the main building there is a detached transportable style building adjacent which is now primarily redundant and used mainly for storage. The current accommodation and facilities do not meet current or future needs of the club, community expectations or current building standards.

• A full demolition/removal of the current detached transportable structure to the west of the main building and any required partial demolition of existing main building structures to prepare for the extension/refurbishments

• Site and landscaping work to facilitate a new DDA compliant entrance ramp and airlock
• The extension and fit out works including a new open area to the West (replacing the transportable structure) and internal works to facilitate a new disabled access toilet and refurbished bar and toilets
