TENDER FOR PROVISION OF PERSONAL DISABILITY SUPPORT SERVICES

Formal classroom and community based training Before and after class and during breaks During work experience as appropriate to the needs of the student and the working environment During overnight camp During travel and transport of students as require TasTAFE is seeking to appoint a provider, or providers, of disability support services to provide suitably qualified and experienced personnel to work as Student Assistants, as required, in order to provide personal support to students with a range of disabilities in classroom and other learning environments for the period 2018 to 2020. The services will be for students statewide who are participating in campus-based vocational preparation courses at TasTAFE. Support must be as appropriate to the needs of the individuals, to facilitate their comfort, individual learning and wellbeing and to assist in creating an environment conducive to teaching and learning in the following situations: Work orders will be negotiated with the successful service provider for the calendar years and regions as needs, schedules and budgets determine.
