Description
The Department of Home Affairs owns and operates crucial infrastructure around Australia, which is used to support the whole of government effort to protect Australia’s national interests.
The requirement relates to the two (2) remote location Helicopter Landing Sites (HLS) located at Banks Peak on Moa Island and Dauan Island within the Torres Strait which are used to provide access to the UHF radio communication network towers (Towers) located on each island.
The two existing Helipads are either at end of life or near end of life.
The Department is seeking to replace the two (2) existing Helipads at Banks Peak, Moa Island and Dauan Island.
