Provision of Driver Training Services for COMCAR Employees

Description
The Department of Finance and Deregulation (Finance) is seeking tenders from suitably accredited organisations for the provision of driver training services Australia-wide for COMCAR employees.
The Services required will include but will not be limited to:
(a) Standard Defensive Driving Courses
i.Defensive Driving Level 1 (DD1), and
ii.Defensive Driving Level 2 (DD2).
(b) COMCAR-specific Driving Courses
i.Advanced Driving Course
ii.Motorcade Driving Course
iii. Driving with an Escort Vehicle, and
iv.Custom-developed Driving Courses (as required by Finance).
(c) Refresher Training Courses in:
i.Defensive driving courses
ii.COMCAR-specific driving courses, and
iii.Other driving courses, as required.
(d) Provision of suitable venues and facilities (excluding vehicles) for providing the driver training Services, and
(e) Making recommendations to Finance where the Service Provider can see opportunities to update or improve the training to meet the competencies required.
The services must:
- facilitate the acquisition of best practice driving knowledge and skills necessary for COMCAR employees to provide continued high quality and secure car-with-driver services to clients,
- meet nationally consistent standards and competencies, and
- provide overall value for money for the Commonwealth.
