Request for Quotation - Financial Management and Information System ('FMIS') - service and maintenance

Old Parliament House (‘OPH’) in Canberra houses the Museum of Australian Democracy. The museum initiatives include long-term exhibitions, interactive experiences, incorporating digital technology, enhancements to the interpretation of heritage spaces in the building and outreach activities. Together, they offer an entertaining and informative experience through which visitors can explore the story of Australia’s democracy and the heritage of the building.

OPH is seeking Quotations from suitably qualified persons (‘Respondents’) for the provision of software licence, support and software development of its existing Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0 program and SQL Reports (‘Services’) relating to the Financial Management Information System.

The purpose of this RFQ is to invite quotations to be submitted by 03 November 2010 in accordance with the requirements of the Lodgement of Quotations below (‘Quotations’).

Quotations should include the information requested below.

For background, OPH operates two separate company accounts, thirteen cost centres and numerous projects each year. Transactions amount to around $16m per annum across companies. OPH utilises the Accounts Payable, Account Receivable, Financial, Fixed Assets, Email Pro, Extender and Analytical Accounting modules and processes around 12,000 transactions per annum.

OPH proposes to enter into a contract with the preferred Respondent for provision of the Services (‘Contractor’).
