Description
Super SA provides administrative services to the South Australian Superannuation Board (the “SuperSA Board”) for the administration of the superannuation schemes and products for the South Australian public sector.
The claims management team within Super SA administers member insurance arrangements in accordance with the governing legislation, which involves underwriting new insurance applications, assessing claims received and other ongoing administrative matters.
Whilst decisions relating to insurance matters ultimately reside with the SuperSA Board, the claims management team utilises the services of independent medical specialists to assist with the provision of complete information to the delegates of the SuperSA Board and, if required, to the SuperSA Board directly so that informed decisions can be made.
