Description
The Department of Environment and Natural Resources is progressively upgrading key trails in the Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges region. The Mount Lofty Botanic Gardens Access Trail will comply with the Disability Discrimination Act Class 1 trails as per (AS 2156.1&2 and AS 1428.1 – 2009). The trail will provide garden visitors a safe and accessible trail to view the lake and surrounds. The following information is provided for your assistance: Building works will include the construction of a new boardwalk, new sections of asphalt surfaced trail, re-grading and asphalt surfacing of existing trail, construction of stone walls and stairs and landscaping of the lake edge with natural stone.
