Lucky Bay Campground Civil Works, Cape Le Grand National Park, Esperance

Works required:

• Widening and reforming the existing entry road;
• Construction of new unsealed loop roads;
• Construction of new caravan, tent and group camp sites;
• Construction of new car, bus and long vehicle parking;
• Construction of a sealed day use parking area loop;
• Construction building pads for several structures such as camp kitchens and ablutions;
• Construction of concrete and gravel collector paths;
• Construction of an information bay;
• Demolition of timber steps and replacement with concrete risers;
• Provision of rock pitching;
• Installation of conduits for services under roads;
• Provision and installation of soak wells;
• Installation of water pipes to camp kitchens and ablutions from existing supply;
• Installation of bollards and wheel stops;
• Installation of gabion retaining walls; and
• Upgrading vehicle access to the beach.
