Description
Council is seeking to make an appointment for a period of three years for the auditing of financial years 2013-14 to 2015-16 inclusive.
The objective of Council's audit is to provide two independent audit opinions of the:
- accounts and annual financial reports; and
- internal financial controls;
of the Council will be required for each financial year covered by the term of the audit appointment. The audit must meet both statutory requirements and Australian audit standards and the Local Government Act and associated financial management regulations.
The Principals office is closed from 12.00 noon Tuesday 24 December 2013 and reopens at 8:45am Thursday 2 January 2014.
