Contractor for Stage 2 Fencing at Gladstone State Development Area. Gladstone

Provision of rural fencing along cadastral boundary within the Gladstone State Development Area.

This invitation to tender involves five separate fencing projects relating to rural livestock fencing within the GSDA, predominantly to prevent cattle accessing major roads.

These being:

1. East End Rail Line – Rewire of Fence
2. EDQ - Rewire of Fence
3. Bruce Highway – Replace Fence
4. MTSC West and South - New Fence
5. Aldoga Drive - New Fence

The methodology for each project varies slightly to the other and requires your understanding and pricing of each of these projects separately. The projects will be awarded to one contractor by EDQ.

The contractors will provide all fencing materials, machinery and labour to complete the work. All cost considerations are required to be included in your price and reflected in the bill of quantities.

All projects will require close liaison with the Grazing Lessee as most fences will need to be stock proof. All project areas are in a rural setting with very limited other industrial activity nearby.

Traffic and livestock control measures, amenities and ablutions, temporary fencing, start work procedures, product delivery, WHS procedures and wash-down equipment must be provided by the contractor. Safety of machinery, materials and equipment are the responsibility of the contractor, a secure “depot” can be made available at the Euroa Homestead.

A formal site inspection will be organised by EDQ for Thursday 16 July 2015 at Euroa Homestead, Gladstone Mt Larcom Road, Gladstone at 10.00am.
